A new category view based on shelf position
Sometimes it is not the position on the shelf that determines the amount of your turnover, but what is next to it on the next metre!
One of our customers wanted to know what the influence of different shelf arrangements was on the turnover of his products at JUMBO. This is to sharpen her category vision.
What turned out? Not only the position of the product on your own meter influences the result, but even more so what is written on the meter next to it!
For example, if Product A was placed next to Product B, this would have a more negative turnover result compared to a position next to other products. An insight with which this customer has developed a completely new category vision for JUMBO.
